About Us

Welcome to Lost Pupy—a space built not just for pets, but for the people who love them like family.

We get it. Pets aren’t just animals. They’re sidekicks. Soulmates. Chaos gremlins with fur and feelings. And when it comes to their well-being—whether it’s choosing the right breed, managing their health, or keeping them safe—you want real answers, not recycled advice or complicated vet-speak.

That’s why Lost Pupy exists.

We’re here to help you care for your pets with confidence, compassion, and clarity. Whether you’re a first-time pup parent, someone managing a rescue’s medical journey, or just trying to make sense of what that one bark might mean—we’ve got you.

We’re not here to overwhelm you with endless choices or scare you with worst-case scenarios. We’re here to meet you where you are—with useful, real-world information that puts your pet’s health, happiness, and safety first.

Who We Are?

Lost Pupy was created by a small group of pet lovers, vet techs, behavior nerds, and wellness writers who saw a gap in the pet care space. We saw blog posts that were either too clinical or too fluffy (pun intended), and pet parents left feeling more confused than comforted.

So we thought: What if there was a place that gave honest, digestible guidance about breeds, vaccines, and safety tips—without assuming everyone had a golden retriever, a fenced yard, or unlimited money?

That place became Lost Pupy.

We’ve been through the anxious vet visits, the nights Googling symptoms, the joy of finding the perfect treat, and the heartbreak of saying goodbye. We don’t speak from a pedestal. We speak from experience.

And we’re here to make sure you don’t feel alone in figuring it all out.

What We Guide

Pet Breeds

Choosing the right breed (or mix!) can be exciting—but also a little overwhelming. Whether you’re researching before adoption or trying to understand the personality of the pup already sleeping on your couch, our breed profiles are made for real people with real lives.

We don’t just list traits. We talk about energy levels, emotional needs, grooming realities, and whether or not a breed will thrive in your apartment or chase your cat around.

Our breed guides include:

The pros and cons of popular and lesser-known breeds Behavioral quirks you should actually pay attention to Breed-specific health considerations Adoption vs. breeder choices—and what to know either way Why your lifestyle matters more than the breed description

We also spotlight mixed breeds and rescues, because personality can’t always be traced through pedigree.

At Lost Pupy, we help you make a match—not just pick a breed.

Health & Vaccination

Let’s be honest—keeping up with your pet’s health can be a full-time job. Between vet visits, vaccinations, preventive care, and the occasional mystery illness, there’s a lot to keep track of.

We make it simpler.

Our health content helps you understand:

What vaccines your pet actually needs—and when The difference between preventive care and panic mode How to spot early signs of illness or discomfort Nutritional tips that don’t rely on brand sponsorships Holistic options (the real ones, not the gimmicks)

We cover everything from puppy check-ups to senior care. And when we talk about symptoms, we break them down with clarity, not fear.

Because pet care shouldn’t require a veterinary degree. It should require compassion, commitment, and solid information—which is exactly what we offer.

Pet Safety

We know the world isn’t always a safe place for our four-legged friends. From food recalls to seasonal risks to the everyday hazards lurking in your own backyard, safety is something every pet owner has to think about.

That’s why we created an entire section dedicated to it.

In our Pet Safety section, we cover:

How to dog-proof your home without overthinking Leash laws and city safety tips for urban pups Emergency preparedness—yes, even for pets What to do if your dog gets lost (and how to prevent it) How to manage separation anxiety, fireworks panic, and storm stress

We also dive into travel safety, temperature warnings, and behavioral red flags that could signal discomfort or danger.

We don’t want to scare you. We want to prepare you. Because safety is love—and proactive care is peace of mind.

Our Methods

At Lost Pupy, we keep things simple, honest, and helpful. We’re not trying to sell you a product disguised as an article. We’re not copy-pasting generic advice or hiding behind affiliate links.

We write as if we’re talking to a fellow pet parent at the park. We explain things clearly. We ask the questions you’re probably Googling at 1 a.m. And we don’t assume you’ve got it all figured out.

We also believe that not every pet experience is picture-perfect. Maybe your pup came with trauma. Maybe you’re managing a chronic condition. Maybe you’re scared because something seems off, and you’re not sure what to do next.

This is your space, too.

We center our content around real people, real pets, and the messy middle where most of us live. Whether you’re new to this or seasoned with experience, we want you to leave every article with a little more clarity, a little less anxiety, and a lot more love for the journey.

Why Trust Lost Pupy?

Because your pet is part of your family—and you want to get it right Because you’ve been overwhelmed by advice and just want straight answers Because you need more than a product list—you need context Because you’re a beginner, an adopter, a caretaker, or a second-chance giver Because you know your dog better than anyone, and you want to keep learning Because trust matters, especially when your pet’s health is on the line Because we don’t just talk about pets—we live with them, too

At Lost Pupy, we believe pet care is a partnership. And we’re here to be your calm, informed, go-to resource in the middle of the noise.

Looking Ahead

Lost Pupy is still growing—and that’s the exciting part.

We’re building out more detailed breed libraries, interactive health timelines, and printable vaccination trackers. We’re working on first-aid guides for emergencies, city-by-city pet safety maps, and expert interviews with trainers and vet techs.

We’re also expanding our library of behavioral content—because mental health matters just as much for dogs as it does for humans.

Soon, we’ll launch a pet care newsletter that skips the spam and brings you season-specific tips, safety alerts, and features from real pet parents.

And in the near future, we’ll roll out a podcast that brings all these voices together—from the rescue mom who turned her kitchen into a recovery ward to the vet nurse who’s seen it all and explains it better than any textbook.

The goal? To be more than just a website. To be the calm in your chaos. The reliable link you bookmark. The tab you open when something’s wrong—or when something’s just beginning.
